Cisco Live EMEA 2017 in Berlin

Unusual pic for Berlin, right?

It’s from the German Museum of Technology, somewhere next to the river Spree in the Kreuzberg area.
It’s a bit of a surprise if you walk or drive around and suddenly notice this massive aircraft on the roof of a building.

That wasn’t why I was in Berlin; it was for business as the Cisco Live took place here. It’s my second one after 2016 and a few months since my last trip.

Just one pic from our booth:

Far more interesting was the party in the evening! It was basically on the other side of the show grounds, so they took us with busses over there:

And it turned out to be a great party. The main act was Snap!, some cheesy Eurodance who still know how to engage a crowd!

I asked my colleagues if someone didn’t want to attend, and it worked out so I could smuggle Veronica in!

While we were in the city, we did just one tourist thing, and visited the TV tower:

In the evening, we went to a Gothic/Dark Wave nightclub.
Yes, Berlin is big enough to offer such niche entertainment!

The following picture is the actual floor.
It was thick glass, and underneath they made it look like you were in a cemetery, including graves. So creative!

Veronica enjoyed the city; for me, it’s still a mixed bag.
I’m not sure what to think of it.
